When to Say Goodbye to Your Man

Despite what popular shows like Scandal say, there are definite times to say goodbye to your man, especially if he is a deadbeat. Here are my top 5 deuces moments.

1. Cheating

IMO cheating is a deal breaker. However there are levels to having an affair, so let’s be clear. I can forgive flirting, texting, and maybe even a kiss as long as he is up front with me and it’s not an ongoing thing. But sexual contact with another woman is where I draw the line, as any pretty girl should. No one deserves to be cheated on.

2. Lying

If your man lies to you constantly about where he’s going or what he’s doing, then he’s more than likely cheating, which gives you two reasons to leave him. Either way, why be with someone that you can’t trust?

3. Laziness

No pretty girl should be with a man that does nothing. Every man should have a job and be able to provide for himself and you when needed. Relationships should be equal financially. However, if he doesn’t have a job, then he should be taking care of the kids, cooking, cleaning, taking care of you, etc. If he doesn’t provide for you either financially, emotionally, physically or spiritually, then he’s not worth your time.

4. Withdrawn

Every pretty girl is like a delicate flower. She requires tending in order to bloom. Planting, watering, weeding, and sunlight. If your man isn’t there to talk to you, take care of you and treat you like a Queen, then he shouldn’t be your man.

5. Taken

Again, despite what Scandal depicts, dating a man that’s already Taken is just bad karma. Put yourself in the other woman’s shoes. How would you feel if someone was sleeping with your man, husband, father of your children? No one respects the other women and every pretty girl deserves respect.

Anything else, IMO, can be overlooked.

Until next time gorgeous!
