I have visions of grandeur. I imagine you waking up one morning and realizing that you were wrong. That I’m the one for you and that you can’t live without me. I picture you calling me and telling me that you need to see me right away. I can see us meeting up in the park and feeding the ducks like we used to do. You tell me about your grand revelation. About how I’m the only woman that you’ve ever loved. You get down on one knee and give me the ring your grandmother passed down to you. I say yes and we have a big, beautiful wedding on the beach. Live happily ever after with three kids and a dog. But that’s all in my head…because you’re not with me…you’re with her.
