I have this intense desire to go vegan. I always have. I was vegan for about six months in college. I’ve always wanted to go back. Something inside keeps pulling me back to these healing foods.
To cut out all meat, dairy, starches, etc. from my diet, and to eat natural, organic fruits, vegetables and legumes.
I want to begin feeding my body the best, most nutritious foods that the Earth has to offer. And not just for weight loss. This has nothing to do with weight loss (well not fully for weight loss).
While I would like to release excess pounds, I’m focused more on nourishing my body, mind, and soul with amazing foods that heal.
You could literally do anything to lose weight. But, losing weight is so temporary. I want health. I want vibrance. I want to feel good. I want to be full of energy after I eat, instead of feeling like I need a nap (a long nap).
I am working on making it a lifestyle. Not a 22-day thing. Not something temporary. But permanently eating the best foods I can find and afford.
